A cold wallet, also known as a cold storage wallet, refers to a method of storing cryptocurrencies offline, away from internet access. This can include hardware wallets (physical devices), paper wallets (printed keys), or other forms of secure physical storage. Cold wallets are considered one of the most secure ways to store cryptocurrencies as they are less susceptible to hacking, phishing, and other online vulnerabilities. They are typically used for long-term storage of large amounts of cryptocurrency, rather than for frequent trading or transactions.
